Martin Tracey is the inaugural 2010 Irish Touring Car Champion.He had a superb season with a record 7 wins in 8 races, in the Westward Engineering prepared Ford RS500.He’s well known as Westward Precision Engineering’s Engine Builder and Tuner.A regular Rally Sprint Competitor, Irish Time Attack Winner and current Irish Drag Racing Champion, Martin had a very successful year.Back to defend his title in 2011, Martin will be hoping to keep his car fast and reliable for another trip to the top of the podium.[/toggle] [toggle title="Brian Sexton"]

Brian is one of the ITCC series founders and organisers, he has been a fixture in the paddock of Mondello Park for many years and currently works as an instructor at the circuit’s race school. His primary motorsport experience previous to ITCC in 2010 was in Time Attack. He was present at the very first Irish Time Attack event in a Nissan Pulsar VZ-R but with the debut of the full championship series in 2008, he began driving the JOMO Engineering Mitsubishi Lancer Evo. After a hard-fought season, Brian clinched the 2008 championship at the final round. In 2009, he drove the JOMO Evo once again, finishing fourth overall. In ITCC in 2010 Sexton drove a number of cars, with a fine victory at round 3 in Mondello Park and a brace of pole positions being the highlight of his season.[/toggle] [toggle title="Ciaran Timmons"]

David Clarke is a renowned VW nut who owns some of Ireland’s fastest drag-racing Dubs. He also has a MkII Golf that he had been using as a fun track car, but once he heard about the ITCC, things got serious and he began prepping it for racing in 2010. Instantly gaining the nick name ‘blocker’ for his furious attempts to stop anyone passing him he improved throughout the 2010 season. Philip Burdock is a seasoned Time Attack competitor who ran a self built 2-door Subaru Impreza in the 2008 Mondello series. He won Japfest and had many podiums and then went on to built a supercharged Honda Civic for the 2009 season, where he won one event and finished seventh overall in the standings. Philip is part of the team behind the ITCC, and in 2010 campaigned his Bracing prepared Honda Civic to a number of podiums and a race win in the mid season non championship race at Mondello Park and went on to pick up the Drivers Driver of the year award 2010. Philip raced a Rover 25 GTi in last years championship and was forever the entertainer in his ex Mondello Race-school car and manage to secure a podium finish in the rookies by the end of the year. He also picked up the Sponsors driver of the year award for his efforts . Stephen Maher was the ITCCs 2010 Rookie Champion. Starting the season in a Honda Civic he switched half way through the season to a M3 powered BMW Compact.
