Name: Brian Sexton

Brian is one of the ITCC series founders and organisers, he has been a fixture in the paddock of Mondello Park for many years and currently works as an instructor at the circuit’s race school. His primary motorsport experience previous to ITCC in 2010 was in Time Attack. He was present at the very first Irish Time Attack event in a Nissan Pulsar VZ-R but with the debut of the full championship series in 2008, he began driving the JOMO Engineering Mitsubishi Lancer Evo. After a hard-fought season, Brian clinched the 2008 championship at the final round. In 2009, he drove the JOMO Evo once again, finishing fourth overall. In ITCC in 2010 Sexton drove a number of cars, with a fine victory at round 3 in Mondello Park and a brace of pole positions being the highlight of his season.

Name: Philip Burdock

Philip Burdock is a seasoned Time Attack competitor who ran a self built 2-door Subaru Impreza in the 2008 Mondello series. He won Japfest and had many podiums and then went on to built a supercharged Honda Civic for the 2009 season, where he won one event and finished seventh overall in the standings. Philip is part of the team behind the ITCC, and in 2010 campaigned his Bracing prepared Honda Civic to a number of podiums and a race win in the mid season non championship race at Mondello Park and went on to pick up the Drivers Driver of the year award 2010. With improved pace all season Burdock is one to watch…

Philip raced a Rover 25 GTi in last years championship and was forever the entertainer in his ex Mondello Race-school car and manage to secure a podium finish in the rookies by the end of the year. He also picked up the Sponsors driver of the year award for his efforts . In 2011 he will be driving his newly built E36 m3 in the Super Touring class and plans to once again mix it up and put a few of the more seasoned drivers under pressure

Tom Fahy swaps his mechanics overalls for his race suit at the weekends. Hailing from Oranmore Co Galway Fahy finished as runner up Rookie in 2010 despite two heavy accidents. Promising to come back faster and stronger in 2011 in his ex Mardi Gras Integra he will be one to watch out for

With a blistering start to the year with a 1st and a 2nd place in the opening rounds Garreth broke the touring class barrier time and was upgraded to the Supertouring class and more power and new aero package in the Wales rounds was straight on the pace and is sure to make his mark and grab some more podiums this year in the Super touring class….

The Rabbitt family have been heavily involved in Irish motorsport for years and young Keith Rabbitt is the latest member to join the fray. He is not a complete beginner to four-wheeled motorsport, having raced in two Uno championship rounds previously, as well as entering his Mini Cooper S in a number of ITCC events in 2010, with his defensife driving skills coming to the fore in the non championship race after round 6. Keith will compete for family honours against brothers Barry and Shane.

Cian Carey comes to ITCC from the world of Moto X and Quad racing. At just 16 years of age Cian is the youngest competitor in the field. His car is a Honda Civic EK Type R that he has built by himself. 2011 will be his first foray into car racing and is sponsored by Mooretown Engineering who will also be supplying drivers old enough to being Cians car to the track for the first race as he turns 17 just a few days later!

Kevin is a rookie is this year Itcc his expenence consists of trackdays in mondello and 1 in kirkistown. Have also
tracked around circuits in the uk- Donnington and silverstone.
He has been  in the ITCC backgrounds in 2011, helping out in the pits etc.
Taking first steps on the racing ladder in 2012 by competing in a
Civic Coupe. Kevin is planning to get out testing well in advance to make sure
the car is fast, reliable and consistent.

Eoghan’s been out of the driving seat for the past 5 years (rallying)so is a little bit rusty.  He started competing in the fore KA rally championship in 2003. With 3 out rite wins and 2  2nd place finishes finished 3rd overall due to 2 none finishes. Moved to civic eg6 Gpn the following year 6 class wins and 2 top 10 finishes overall.  So itcc is a hole new ball game for Eoghan ,can he but his rally experience to good use and show there young lads in the Touring class a thing or too ..
