Shane Rabbitt (31) from Ratoath Co Meath comes from a Motorsport family.  He first started out racing Rc cars as a young boy. Then moving to Quad racing in his teens He then took the jump to competing in the Irish time attack series in his Mazda Rx7 which at the time was his everyday road car.  Finishing as 1st  privateer for 2 years. The next step was racing where he first competed in the ITCC back in 2010. He took some years off to fully rebuild his RX7 and came back looking for outright victories. In 2017 he won the Irish Touring Car Championship.  Shane has also competed in the fiesta 6 hour race and joined the BOSS Ireland Leinster trophy race and finished well in a Formula Renault. This year Shane is looking to be right back up the sharp end after a year out and bring back the ITCC Championship trophy.
